Preparing and Answering Interview Questions
Three Types of Interview Questions
- Typical HR interview Questions
- “What are you looking for in a new opportunity?
- ”Why are you looking for a new position?”
- Behavioral Questions (Otherwise known as “tell me about a time” questions.)
- “Tell me about a time when you had a difficult stakeholder that wouldn’t cooperate and what you did to get them engaged on the project?”
- Case Interview Questions (Interviewers give candidates a brain teaser or an actual written case and ask them to solve the problem.)
- “How many gas stations are there in the U.S.?”
- “Our client’s profitability is way down this year. Why is that?”
