- Manage a team of 15-20 Sourcing professionals

- Developing the vision, strategy and implementation plan for a specific sub-categories of spend that will effectively meet the long range requirements of the business partners and deliver the maximum value and report on supplier strategies, monitoring spend, business allocation, capability gap analysis and facilitate cross-functional review and evaluation;
- Develop strategies for the mitigation of risk in the supply chain, overall and for specific new product programs;
- Provide benchmarking studies and market analysis;
- Develop an annual plan for identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Organize and lead regular strategic supplier business reviews.

About the Author:
Mr. Flannery has many years of executive search, supply chain consulting experience, supply chain strategy, and process improvement. He has managed consulting projects for several Fortune 500 clients on three continents, including: Raytheon, IBM, Union Bank of California, H.J. Heinz, ConAgra, Eaton, Nestle, and Lucent Technologies. Mr. Flannery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration in Strategy from Indiana University.
