Highlights

This procurement role, Sourcing Manager, will focus on supporting the Strategic Sourcing organization in its continued evolution into a more progressive procurement group. This person will be tasked with Sourcing within a variety of Indirect Spend commodity groups with the hope this person can become adept in various areas. Knowledge of one or more Indirect Spend commodities would be highly valued, and the development of a broad commodity skillset will be encouraged over time.

 

This firm is currently in the midst of a company-wide transformation to a more progressive Procurement organization, and this person will be tasked with continuing that transformation with a lot of interaction with Executives across various Business Units.  This person will set sourcing strategy at the Business Unit level with an eye towards Continuous Improvement. Strong influencing skills will be required and highly valued in the role. This person will need to be collaborative and capable of working cross-functionally across various groups. The career path beyond this role will provide the right person an opportunity to advance in a more progressive Procurement & Supply Chain organization as the company-wide transformation moves forward.
