Key Responsibilities of Senior Manager / Director Position

• Lead key business development activities for our strategic sourcing advisory products including targeting key clients, proposing our services and closing opportunities in the Oil & Gas industry
• Lead multiple engagement teams for Oil & Gas clients by leveraging our strategic sourcing approaches and frameworks
• Contribute to the development and presentation of final client deliverables
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of general business operations including, strategic sourcing, manufacturing and supply chain issues
• Contribute to the development of practice knowledge base through white papers, articles, and other collateral
• Assist the Partners with practice administration including: resource allocation, career development of staff, and other people management decisions

Essential Qualifications and/or Requirements

• Eight years of management consulting experience in procurement and strategic sourcing with expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, demonstrating success in developing/implementing sourcing strategies in both direct and indirect categories
• Experience in project management and oversight, including supervising staff level engagement teams in the field and providing input into engagement decisions, contract management and operational restructuring
• Functional knowledge of applications enabling strategic sourcing; SAP SRM, Ariba, Emportis, Oracle, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, operations analysis or a related field from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior clients in a professional services environment and excellent foundational consulting skills (strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, impactful client presence, compelling facilitation and presentation skills)
• Ability to travel at a significant level, as needed

Desired Qualifications

• MBA from an accredited college/university preferred
