Highlights of the Supply Chain Manager Position
The incumbent will join a strong supply chain organization and help lead the supply and demand planning process (S&OP) for facilities across the globe. The incumbent will work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations to organize, optimize, and improve the supply and demand forecasting process. This individual will drive improvements in inventory, capacity utilization, and order fulfillment. The incumbent will be responsible for managing multiple projects with a sense of urgency and bias towards action.

Key Responsibilities of Supply Chain Manager Position
- Lead the Supply and Demand Planning process for a business unit.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations to organize, optimize, and improve the Supply and Demand forecasting process for a business.
- Work closely with and assist business leaders, to improve the demand management system to support the Supply/Demand Planning processes.
- Expand Supply Chain Management concepts, including DPS systems, Metrics, Inventory Strategies (Blue Fin), and system automation (MRP) to the extent applicable to the business.
- Drive improvements in inventory, capacity utilization, asset rationalization, and order fulfillment/delivery performance.
- Execute and provide facilitative leadership to the Supply and Demand Planning Process effort through meetings and communications.
- Demonstrate the benefits of an Supply and Demand Planning process via metrics and have the ability to use the process as the basis for Operating Plans.
- Key initiatives and deliverables include: assist plants in implementing formal Supply and Demand Planning meetings each month, review regional metrics (KPI’s) monthly with group, perform Pre-planning analytics to enable the business to make quality decision making, and act as focal point with the Commercial group.

Essential Qualifications and/or Requirements
- B.S. in business-related field or C.P.M.
- Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management and project management
- Minimum 7 years of experience, 2 years of S&OP experience
- Strategic thinking and change agent with proven experience in managing business process improvement.
- Six sigma trained (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred).
- Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Able to identify and analyze opportunities for improving financial drivers throughout supply chain.
- Ability to lead/manage within the matrix organization.
- Sense of urgency and bias towards action.
- Excellent communication skills, including intercultural understanding. Results driven. Must have proven success and track record
