Highlights of Vice President of Supply Chain Position
This key executive leadership role will be an active and important member of the Operating Committee of a global manufacturing company. With high visibility and extensive responsibility over VP and Director-level staff, this role will report to the CEO. The VP will have responsibility over a significant number of global business units which will total over 1,000 employees. The incumbent will develop long-term strategies and short-term tactical plans to achieve corporate objectives. The VP will use their expertise and experience to provide leadership and strategic direction to the various business units, which include Manufacturing and Engineering, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality. The VP will also have responsibility over the design, construction, and maintenance of manufacturing facilities. This includes compliance with Responsible Care and ensuring safe operations, as well as operating permits throughout the world (OSHA, USEPA, COMAH, Seveso, etc.), global employment regulations, and U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley. Key also will be organizational development with a focus on succession planning and the development and retention of a high-performance management team.

Qualifications and/or Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience, including an executive role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vision and purpose effectively throughout a global organization at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, leadership teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport with Directors and executive leadership.
- Bachelors in Chemical Engineering strongly preferred. The client may look at other engineering / strong science degrees depending on professional background.
- Masters in Business Administration strongly preferred. The client may look at those with advanced engineering / strong science degrees depending on professional background.
- Chemical industry experience preferred.
- Six Sigma certification preferred.
