This IT organization is going through a major transformation and the Manager will be an integral part in all aspects of the procurement process including market intelligence, sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations and relationship management.

Responsibilities
- Negotiates the best possible price for commodities
- develop procedures and policies to manage compliance
- Partner with leadership to manage savings against goals
- Manage new vendor account set up and maintain vendor relationships
- Monitor market trends to reduce risk
- Develop processes for the source to payment strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelors required, MBA a plus
- 5 years purchasing experience
- 3 years involving IT sourcing
- Good presentation skills
- Intermediate MS office skills, SAP a plus
- Travel less than 30% – including international
