I’m working with a well-established manufacturer in the Cleveland Metro area seeking Purchasing professionals to aid in the expansion of their Procurement organization.  My client is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth and requires astute Procurement talent to help satisfy the challenges that come from expansion.

Highlights

The role’s primary function is to negotiate goods and services; secure products, commodities and other raw materials, as well as the associated purchase orders, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and meeting established operational metrics and service levels.  This person will also be expected to execute supplier enablement activities and further Supplier Relationship Management.  In addition, my client is seeking someone who possesses the ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple projects when necessary, and hopefully make themselves a target for promotion and advancement as the group becomes more strategic.

He has managed consulting projects for several Fortune 500 clients on three continents, including: Raytheon, IBM, Union Bank of California, H.J. Heinz, ConAgra, Eaton, Nestle, and Lucent Technologies. Mr. Flannery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration in Strategy from Indiana University.
