Senior Sourcing Manager ( Outsourcing/Consulting Focus )

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing based strategies for responsible areas.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of sourcing initiatives end to end.
- Create and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Consistently create, present and implement process improvements within the organization.
- Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends including analysis of market drivers, cost structures and technical improvements.
- Support supplier initiatives including annual cost reductions, supplier consolidation, favorable business terms, etc.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years experience in sourcing environment. Strong background in sourcing professional services and outsourcing/off-shoring.
- Experience must include negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements for off-shore services performed in multiple international locations.
- Experience within the technology or financial services industries preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to assume leadership roles.
- Supply chain experience managing cross functional teams in a fast pace company.
- Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fluent in English.
- Exceptional ability to solve problems.
- Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, supplier relations.
- Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Productivity applications required.
